    Join us for a 1/2 day seminar on Mental Health in the Workplace.  This opportunity will be great for supervisors, managers, HR professionals and business owner to attend. 

    Laurie Enke, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, HR Consultant, from Employer's Council will start the day with "Mental Health in the Workplace: How Employers Can Make a Difference".  This presentation will cover the current state of mental health in the workplace and give an overview of employer mental health responsibilities and opportunities along with strategies for employers to improve their mental health culture.  

    Dwane Pacheco, Retired City of Rock Springs Police Chief will then provide education on "Business, School and Community Safety Utilizing Standard Response Protocol".  This will provide information on what businesses and organizations on safety in the workplace and what can be done in our community.

    Lisa Newell, LPC and Carrie Sturgeon, LCSW of Mind Works Behavioral Health, LLC will then discuss "Workplace Wellbeing".  This presentation will focus on how to help employees recognize and support each other during difficult times.  

    We will also be hosting a resource fair of local professionals who provide services in community that can assist individuals and/or employees in improving their wellbeing. There is no charge for vendors. To sign up, please email highdeserthr@gmail.com.

    Registration is $59 for HDHRA members and $99 for non-members.  Refreshments and resources are included.  This seminar will also provide 4 hours of continuing education for professionals.  

    This presentation will be held at WWCC room #3650A, 3650B and virtually via Zoom.  This education will be eligible for 4 hours of SHRM Certification Credit.
