What Small Business NEEDS to Know About HR

This interactive presentation will provide small business owners with vital information about human resource topics that can make or break their business. Areas of interest will include I-9, Labor Standards, Employee Manuals, and documentation basics.

Our presenters will be Jenissa Meredith from Sweetwater Travel and Tourism, Greg Madic from Wyoming Workforce Services, Kara Beech from Beech Creative Group and Devon Brubaker with the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport.  They are each willing to share their unique perspective on being a small employer and the challenges that come along with that in rural Wyoming.  They have a list of resources they use that they believe will be beneficial to all business owners, HR Professionals and community leaders.  There will be time for networking and career counseling.  

This presentation will be held at WWCC room #3650A, 3650B.  This education will be eligible for 1 hour of SHRM Certification Credit.
