Katie Mullen has worked at the State of Wyoming’s Rock Springs Workforce Center for the past three years. She’s been involved with community outreach and helping people get jobs for the past 8+ years. Among other duties, she regularly supports the public with the writing of targeted and tailored resumes. She gets questions on a daily basis regarding use of AI both in hiring practices and in the writing of resumes. Katie answers these to the best of her ability using knowledge gleaned from national trainings on resume writing, personal experimentation with AI, and questions posed to kindhearted local HR professionals in hallways. Please join her for an interactive discussion where she shares what she has learned and what she’s seeing as trends at the workforce center. HR professionals get to weigh in on where she’s on track and off track based on your experience and your local perspective. Finally, she will introduce the new work-based learning pilot program, the Rapid Response program, and workforce development training opportunities.
